Looking back on what good friends we were in college, before we started dating, it doesn't seem surprising. Of course, at the time, I couldn't really imagine being an old guy with no hair, gold in his mouth, achy knees, and feeling romantic about his wife. My younger self might well have found that a bit disturbing.

Wow, congratulatons! I "only" have 29.5 years before I meet that mark. ;)
Thanks.
It's easy, really. Heck, I did it lying down. That's a figure of speech.
Happy 41st.
Thanks Travis.
congratulations :)
Thanks, moonrat.
I owe it all to my wife, of course. But on the other hand, she owes it all to me. So it works out nicely.
That made no sense at all, did it?
You've been married 7 years longer than I've been alive.
:)
Congratulations! (Not "congratulations on making it this long," but congratulations on the celebration of your 41st year with the woman you love.)
Thanks.
