Well, the overall scene was somewhat autobiographical, so it did involve some moderately heavy emotional effort. On the other hand, I was smiling while writing it, whereas actual lifting involves grimacing.
Did you sweat?
I don't think so. I normally only do that when I'm writing sex scenes. Or thinking about bills.
