I remember when it seemed infinitely far away. Sometimes it still does. That 328 weeks (closing in on 327!) may be self-deception; I may never be able to retire, for simple financial reasons. Or I may be able only to switch to part time, contract work. Which would still have advantages.
That's funny -- whenever I sit down to calculate MINE, the answer I get is always one week away...
