Apollo 11 anniversary official moon dust simulant pen!

I just an e-mail from the group I used to work for at NASA concerning a party to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11. (I won't be attending. Houston is a tad to far to go.)

Included was the URL for a site where I can buy a commemorative pen containing official moon dust "simulant"!

Whee doggies! All right! Copacetic!

Actually, I think I have some of that stuff in my back yard.

Added: Here's the site, where you can see the pen, watch video of Kennedy calling for the moon program, and see a clever Photoshop of an astronaut in space holding the pen up for view.

Moon dust simulant? Is that anything like the moon sand they peddle for kids on TV?

I added the URL for the site. I can't tell from the picture what the "moon dust" looks like or where it is.

Each pen has an official NASA seal! No, not the kind that barks.

You'll get no argument from me! Thanks.

Google shows me identical comments on many other blogs, but I'm sure that's just coincidence. Right?

The author of eyeblister.blogspot.com has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: Don't judge a book by its cover, judge it by its color, its weight, its height, its width, its complextion, and all of its other features. Thanks for the info.
